Last week Swedish Algae Factory was awarded as a Climate Solver by WWF (World Wildlife Fund) in Helsinki.
According to WWF the use of our nanoporous silica shell from algae have the potential of raising efficiency and lower the cost of solar energy. If our innovation or others like it penetrates 30 percent of the target market by 2027, the global greenhouse gas emissions would be reduced by 21 million tons of CO2e annually.
We are happy to be a company with the aim to contribute to the reduction of Carbon Dioxide emissions and we are really honored to receive this award.
