Our first market is organic & luxury skin care and our larger long term focus is to enhance the efficiency of solar panels.

Our focus is solar cells and personal care. We have research partnerships for potential future applications.

Solar efficiency enhancing nanomaterial

Our material enhances the efficiency of solar panels with at least 4%, worth over €1,2B annually for the solar energy industry. This % has been verified together with our customers and research groups.

Skin care’s next super-material

We solve personal care’s three largest problems: moisturization, absorption and natural transparent UV filtering. It’s a COSMOS certified organic drop-in substitute.

Our wastewater treatment requires far less energy and chemical input compared to conventional solutions. We’re looking for locations for our next ten factories.

IN HARMONY WITH NATURE

Our material replaces harmful chemicals in many products. Every kilo placed on solar panels causes at least 200 tons reduction in CO2 emissions through more solar power generation. In addition the material’s production process is climate-positive; it traps at least 8x its weight in CO2, 1x nitrogen and 0,1x phosphorous.

LIFE SUNALGAE

We are proud to announce that Swedish Algae Factory have received the highly selective EU LIFE grant. The project LIFE SUNALGAE is the first of its kind to extract and utilize diatom shells at large scale for solar panel efficiency enhancing applications.
